How to add a Placeholder window in Xcode

There is a youtube tutorial with Xcode and IOS programming. As you show the PlaceHolder window with the owner of the file. The tutorial shows how to add multiple delegates and a data source.

You just need to click the "Hide / Show Document" button in the XIB editor:

Please note that the placeholder-keeper of the file and the first responder is available (like large cube icons) even if you hide the outline of the document.
