Presence of panel behavior in chrome extension

I need to have the behavior of the panel in chrome: something is always on top, but this does not impair navigation (in any other way than masking several pixels).

At the moment, we have two options:

  • window in panel mode: not yet available (although now it is available for GTalk extension ).

  • in pop-up mode: I can always do this from above, reorienting myself to each event, however, the focus will be on my window (and make navigation worse).

I'm looking for:

  • Shadow Magic GTalk

  • A way to create a popup on top (or on top and give up focus in the second upper window)
