I studied packages that would allow me to have tabs in my emacs editor. I would like to open several files in one emacs window. Any help / link would be appreciated
Emacs has this functionality built in. These are called buffers. C-x C-fOpens a new file with the name that you provide. C-x ballows you to switch between buffers. C-x C-blists all open buffers. C-x kcloses the current buffer.

If you need several buffers in one window, then it C-x 2splits the windows horizontally. C-x 3will divide it vertically. C-x 1closes all windows that are not current. C-x oLoops between open panels. & Amp ;. WITH

This technique has helped me a lot, you can even filter ORs and group them together. I love emacs xd
