How to do development using facebook oauth when there is a domain name restriction?

Facebook does not allow callbacks to IP addresses. So how to check your facebook authentication? Oauth register a stream on your own computer, as opposed to a production domain?

Point yourdomain.comto your test server ( 127.0.0.1if I'm right) by editing the file /etc/hosts.

And yes, /etc/hostsI meant it C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, obviously.
