Does iTunes Connect and download statistics upload files with a return code that are included in these statistics?

I'm sure they do it. Regardless of Free, Paid, or Promo, any download is still considered a "sale." Educational apps downloaded using Edu promo codes are counted. I would also take a regular promo.
