Silent printing + specify non-standard printer

Requirements

The Intranet web application should print daily receipts daily. Silent printing in Chrome or Firefox works great - consider this part.

Fly in ointment

Thus, we use command line options in chrome or firefox to provide fast, quiet printing, but these are regular workstations, not POS. They have ordinary network printers for everything except printing receipts.

In many configurations, Firefox and Chrome will use the "last used printer", but this is unreliable and does not work in some configurations ... for example, Linux. Firefox does not justify changing a print command or even specifying print_printer.

Questions

Can I specify a printer on the command line:

For instance,

firefox -no-remote -P webapp --print-target receipt

or -

chrome --kiosk --kiosk-printing receipt

, , FF Chrome ( ) ?

greasemonkey script ?

Firefox Chrome, " "... , . - script, ... , . [UPDATE: $$ , ).
