SQL Server 2008 - Does a trigger fire with the same permissions as the username / username?

Just a quick question:

Say I put an insert trigger in a table in my database.

If data is inserted into this table via login / user "foobar".

Is a trigger executed with the same permissions / permissions as foobar?

Many thanks.

Yes.

You can control this behavior with

EXECUTE AS

create statements, as explained here .

By default for triggers there is

EXECUTE AS CALLER

where do we find

Caller
