How to train SVM in Matlab for character recognition?

Question

Im a student of last year working on my main project. My project basically extracts text from a natural scene and recognizes it, and then displays them in a notebook, etc.

I already extracted text from the images, and also got 85 functions for each selected character.

Be that as it may, for the recognition part, I have no idea how to train or use SVM (supporting vector machines) in Matlab so that I can get a match.

Please help me as this proves to be painstakingly difficult.
