Is it possible to restore a task to TFS that has the status "Deleted"?

If someone accidentally set the task status to “Deleted” in TFS 2010, is there any way to restore it?

If you just changed Status/Stateto Deleted , you can create a new query and search for deleted work items.

Go to the "My Queries" section, right-click → "New Query", configure the last item in "Status" = "Deleted" and click "Run"

From the query results you can open the task and change the status / state to the corresponding status / state
