I am trying to deploy the application that I created OTA. These are the steps I took to create ipa:
- Generate Certificate Signing Request
- Creating a .mobileprovision distribution
- Xcode> Product> Archive> Save for Enterprise Deployment
- Specify the correct title, URL (full domain), icons of large / small applications
- Establish .mobileprovision, .ipa, .plist (generated by xcode) in IIS. Configure IIS MIME TYPES on
application/octet-streamfor .mobilerpovision, .ipa, and text/xml.plist. - This was tested on a laptop and confirmed that all URLs are valid.
- Installed Provisioning OTA profile on iPad.
- By clicking on the download link in the desired format (
itms-services://?action=download-manifest&url=$URL). - The iPad returns a general "Connect failed" error.
I tried installing the same application manually on the iPad via iTunes, and it works great. Therefore, at the moment I do not even know what else I can try. I tried and uninstalled entitlements.plistafter I realized that Xcode does this automatically.
Any help is very convenient!
Thanks,
Thea.
