OTA Distribution Issues for IOS Enterprises

I am trying to deploy the application that I created OTA. These are the steps I took to create ipa:

  • Generate Certificate Signing Request
  • Creating a .mobileprovision distribution
  • Xcode> Product> Archive> Save for Enterprise Deployment
  • Specify the correct title, URL (full domain), icons of large / small applications
  • Establish .mobileprovision, .ipa, .plist (generated by xcode) in IIS. Configure IIS MIME TYPES on application/octet-streamfor .mobilerpovision, .ipa, and text/xml.plist.
  • This was tested on a laptop and confirmed that all URLs are valid.
  • Installed Provisioning OTA profile on iPad.
  • By clicking on the download link in the desired format ( itms-services://?action=download-manifest&url=$URL).
  • The iPad returns a general "Connect failed" error.

I tried installing the same application manually on the iPad via iTunes, and it works great. Therefore, at the moment I do not even know what else I can try. I tried and uninstalled entitlements.plistafter I realized that Xcode does this automatically.

Any help is very convenient!

Thanks,
Thea.

I had the same problem as when deploying under corporate deployment OTA Appsc IIS 7.5. The following solution worked for me:

Change the mime types:

.plist: application / xml
.ipa: application / x-plist

Set IIS Anonymous Authentication Credentialsto Application Pool Identity.

Just add two MIME types for the .plistand extensions .ipa.

I added the following in IIS 7 and it all started:

.ipa: application/octet-stream
.plist: application/xml

I did not have to deploy the file .mobileprovision. I think this is not necessary, at least not more.
