Can a WebSphere MQ transfer file directly (e.g. * .txt)?

I'm new to WebSphere MQ, and I'm trying to move files through WebSphere MQ as messages using C # code. Can WebSphere MQ transfer files (e.g. * .txt) directly?

No, the WebSphere MQ database does not directly transfer files. The semantics for moving files include things such as file names, directory paths, and the conversion of names to various types of file systems (i.e., the UNIX file system and z / OS Partitioned Dataset). Messages use semantics specific to queues and topics, and they differ significantly from those used for files.
