Meteor template, where does it come from?

I studied the todos example for Meteor.

I vaguely understand how to use the template from the example. But where is it announced? I tried looking at the packages that Meteor uses to find them. I also searched Google, but there are too many template systems.

Where is the best place to learn about the template and how it is used with Meteor?

Handlebars is the only template system right now. Templates are described in detail at http://docs.meteor.com/#templates .

Today, the only template system that has been packaged for Meteor is Steering Wheel.
