Aptana 3.1.1 (April 17, 2012) Doesn't track changes with Git

I have been using Aptana Studio 3 for some time, and I am actively using Git features.

Since the update today (April 17, 2012), Aptana no longer tracks my changes.

Usually, when I change any of my files, the background of the file name turns red, and an asterisk appears next to it, letting me know that the file has been changed and needs to be put / fixed.

Things I tried:

  • Search for aptana errors.
  • Search by settings.
  • Return to the previous configuration.
  • Rebooting my computer.
  • Checked that the .git folder still exists (yes).
  • Created a new project and pulled out all the files in a new folder (does not help)

Does anyone know how I can turn this feature back on (if the update changed any settings) or the update changed the way files are tracked?

Additional Information: The more I use this version of Aptana, the more I find it broken. I think I’ll just write an error report entitled Version 3.1.1

Thanks for the suggestions anyway guys.

Additional Information:

After hours of searching on Google for anything related to this, I decided to unistall Aptana, manually searched for all the remaining configuration files created by the previous installation, and deleted them, grabbed the previous version 3.1, reinstalled this version, created a new Git repo and pull it out files to my new folder. What a waste of time today was pissing messing with Aptana!
