Why is the name "kingdom" and "important" in the security of Java EE?

Why is the name “kingdom” chosen for something similar (at least for me) as a group of security restrictions and users who are allowed access. Maybe I'm wrong. If I translate it into my native language, I realized that this is a "kingdom, territory." I do not understand this.

Principal: An entity that can be authenticated by a protocol authentication in a security service that is deployed in an enterprise. The principal is identified using the primary name and authenticated using authentication data.

And the main one, which does not make any sense, is that it has ever become even harder in my mother. Can someone explain?

The word "kingdom" is used here as a spatial analogy for the multitude - things can be inside the set or not inside, as in the kingdom. The "kingdom" of security is a set in which all things in this set depend on the same rules, but that things from outside this region are considered as strangers, suspicious or otherwise have incomplete access to things inside this area.
