Force download iOS 5.0.1 characters

Question

A client sent me a crash log from an iOS 5.0.1 (9A405) device. I am running Xcode 4.2 on Snow Leopard. The system parts of the failure log call stack cannot be symbolized, and they seem to be related to the failure; Xcode does not have iOS 5.0.1 characters. I don't have a 5.0.1 device, and I don’t think I can install it, now that 5.1 is the last.

Is there a way for forced download characters for this version of iOS in Xcode without connecting a device?

EDIT: It looks like you can force a specific version of iOS to be installed on the device using the Xcode organizer and image recovery software. However, Dev Portal offers only 5.1 image recovery for download. Are older ones available?

Sorry, but if you didn’t save your SHSH frames, you won’t be able to restore the old version of iOS .. I recommend that you save your drops with TinyUmbrella, so this will not happen again.
