Kibana 4 DateTime Local Value Display

I store data in ElasticSearch, which looks something like this: "_source": {"realtimestamp": "2014-12-05", ...},

And I have users in different time zones creating Kibana 4 charts for viewing data. The problem is that we would like Kibana 4 charts to display time values in the UTC and NOT time zones in the user's local time zone.

The image shows how the date value is now displayed (NOT in UTC): the image below shows how the value is currently being rendered

Any idea how I can get Kibana 4 to display date values in UTC to a user? THANKS! - Matt

K4B3 (beta 3) is still missing. I do not see much time zone support. Check out this ticket:

How about you doing this in your logistic filter

filter{ ... date{ match => ["dateHour", "MM-dd-yyyy HH:mm:ss"] timezone => "America/Sao_Paulo" } }

Doing this Logstash will parse the dateHour element and send to Elasticsearch using the UTC time zone. Therefore, you can watch this data in Kiban.
