Omxplayer cuts off about the last second of sound

Question

I use Omxplayer to play a sound file stored as .MP3

The problem I am facing is that in audio files lasting> 1 second, but <10, it seems that the end of the (about second) file is cut off abruptly, as if the track ended.

I’m not sure what might cause this problem, because Omxplayer doesn’t give errors and just shuts down until the usual “Have a nice day”

This is on Raspbian on Pi.
