Update scheduled time for azure webjob programmatically

Is there a way to change the scheduled time for a webjob from an MVC application or is this the only way through the azure portal. I do not mean the initial time of the schedule, but after deployment, change the scheduled time through the user interface in the Mvc application.

You can always access WebJobs on your website through the WebJobs API . You can start WebJob through a manual call to Triggered Jobs. You can also download a new zip code through the API if your schedule changes.

To change the schedule, you will need to go through the portal or reinstall WebJob with the new schedule. Obviously, you can do this through Visual Studio or using the API.
