Make the azure site available only for other azure sites

Question

I have currently deployed the WCF service along with 3 different asp.net mvc applications that consume the WCF service, all applications have been deployed to another azure website. Since the WCF application has direct access to the databases of my system , I would like to make it accessible only to other sites with asp.net mvc applications, is this possible? I tried with ip white, but I did not find local ips sites to add rules and add website URLs and also enable reverse DNS lookups, also does not work.

Start from last year, you can get a static IP address in Azure.

In addition to limiting the IP address, you may need another level of security, such as enabling a token via HTTPS.

Instead of relying on a specific hosting environment (which may be subject to future changes), you are better off using a hard-coded passkey approach, which in your scenario can be as simple as passing a known GUID for the service.
