Microsoft Excel change icon in the taskbar of Windows 7 and earlier in VBA

I want to change the icon of the Microsoft Excel application on the taskbar in Windows 7 and earlier versions .

I checked the Internet and can find lines of code to change the Microsoft Excel window icon. This code changes the taskbar icon of Microsoft Excel in Microsoft Windows Vista and XP.

I know that the logic of the taskbar design has changed in Windows 7 and earlier Windows; and I know that the taskbar in the mentioned Windows OS uses 32 pixel icons to display the icon.

So, I want to know how to change the Microsoft Excel icon on the Windows 7 + taskbar?

Go to (depends on where Excel is installed, I use Excel 2007 in Windows 7)

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12

Create a shortcut to Excel.exe on the desktop and right-click on it and go to properties

Go to the tab shortcut , and then at the bottom of the tab, then click the change icon and confirm your choice of icon by clicking OK.

Drag the Excel shortcut to the taskbar and Da Da, you will get the Excel launch window with a new shortcut.
