Run & # 8594; Exception not available in Mono Develop 5.7

Mono Develop 3.X has a menu option to configure the exceptions that we want to break (Run β†’ Exceptions). But is it no longer with the Mono Develop 5.7 IDE? Also, Debugger does not violate exceptions.

Any idea How to get it back, maybe some add-ons?

Exceptional catch points are now in the same dialog as the breakpoints. You can open this dialog through

  • Run-> New Exception Catchpoint
  • The breakpoint panel has a New Exception Detection Point button.

What is nice in this case, you can use conditional and counting filters and various conditions / accounts for different exceptions, as well as print debugging text (trace) instead of breaking.

The most common case is adding a "System.Exception" and checking "Include subclasses".
