Run & # 8594; Exception not available in Mono Develop 5.7

Question

Mono Develop 3.X has a menu option to configure the exceptions that we want to break (Run → Exceptions). But is it no longer with the Mono Develop 5.7 IDE? Also, Debugger does not violate exceptions.

Any idea How to get it back, maybe some add-ons?

Exceptional catch points are now in the same dialog as the breakpoints. You can open this dialog through

• Run-> New Exception Catchpoint
• The breakpoint panel has a New Exception Detection Point button.

What is nice in this case, you can use conditional and counting filters and various conditions / accounts for different exceptions, as well as print debugging text (trace) instead of breaking.

The most common case is adding a "System.Exception" and checking "Include subclasses".
