How to deal with spam on Google Play?

Question

Someone sent a spam review to my application (embedded ads and links). He then had many other spammers who rated this review as “helpful.” Now this spam review is shown at the top of the list as "most useful." Every day he re-publishes this review so that he remains on top.

I tried marking this review as spam several times, but it has not been deleted. Obviously, there were more votes for "this is useful" than "this is spam."

What can I do to remove spam?

You can contact Google and they can help.

It is also worth checking that your application does not have an error that prevents it from opening in certain phones / devices (which may or may not be your error, there may be problems with the firmware). But you usually see that users choose 1 star instead of writing reviews. Remember that users are lazy :)
