Why does the following line of characters break Google Chrome on a Mac?

I read everything about it, but no one answered the question of why this is actually happening.

Does anyone really know why this is happening and can explain?

It is not known why this is happening, but Google knows about it . If you are really interested, you can look at the crash report shown in this thread and try to investigate.

Workarounds are available by loading certain fonts such as Syriac or Thaana , so the problem may be that rendering this character sequence is not supported by the standard fonts installed when using Chrome on Mac.
