Android Studio: Gradle build Error: 169.254 / 16 | * .169.254 / 16. Will ignore proxy settings for these hosts

I installed Android Studio a few weeks ago, and I managed to create new projects, and they built perfectly, and I started them. Suddenly, when I create a new project, gradle is not created because I get 6 of these errors:

Error: 169,254 / 16 | * .169.254 / 16. Will ignore proxy settings for these hosts.

What does all this say. I tried to find information on the Internet and even here, but I did not find anything useful in this error. Someone mentioned that it has something to do with its DNS settings, but nothing about how to fix it. I can still start and build my old projects. I just can't create new ones.

I had the same errors in my project. I am on Mac OSX. I do not know other platforms. I fixed it as follows:

  • Close Android Studio.
  • Go to System Preferences> Network
  • Select the active connection and go to Advanced ....
  • Select the Proxy tab.
  • Remove everything from the "Bypass proxy settings for these hosts and domains."
  • Reboot the computer.

Hope I helped you or someone else with the same problem. It was hard to understand.
