How to visualize a simplex?

Say I have an n-simplex and a grid. For each grid point, I compute a function. But I really don't know how to visualize the data obtained by this assessment.

Could you help me introduce a simplex in 3-D or 2-D with any approach, which is good for interpretation? Of course, this assumed that the idea was not entirely accurate.

Try to find the number of each polytonic face for an n-simplex using the pascal triangle. Give color to each of them face.combine with their convex hull.
