Does Font Awesome offer an offer to use <i> tags for SEO?
We use the Awesome Font for most of our sites, and the examples suggest using the <i> in the interest of "brevity" (it does also note that the <span> is the right way to do things, and I tend to agree).
I was curious if this could affect SEO. I know that validators (like Nibbler ) will throw an error for using these tags, but I'm not sure if these warnings have anything to be bothered or not.

I use Font Awesome on my sites, and I also wondered the same thing. From the results of the study, I found that using Font Awesome does not affect SEO rankings or results. I also ran experiments and did not notice any changes in the SEO ranking when using the Awesome font versus plain CSS. No need to worry!
