TF10175: Team Project Does Not Exist

I use visualstudio online for the repository. I deleted the project [ProjectName] from the collective project. After that I received an error on only one computer TF10175: The project command [ProjectName] does not exist.

Any idea to solve this problem?

I got rid of the message by deleting my Workspace.

Note. . This will delete all your local mappings. Therefore, before deleting, you must check all changes. After reconnecting to your TFS, a new workspace will be created.

To delete a workspace, follow these steps:

  • In Team Explorer, select Pending Changes
  • Next to the Verify button, click Actions and select Manage Workspaces ...
  • Select Workspace and click Delete

I hope this works for you.

In Team Explorer, click the "Connect to Team Projects" button, which looks like a fork. You should be able to delete the selected Team project.

Go to your version control explorer, then click the drop-down menu of the workspace in the visual studio, you will find the item "Workspaces" on it. he will list the workspaces that you have. Click "Edit" in the workspace and delete the unnecessary project from the workspace. he will work after that.

I added files / elements to a newly created TFS / Agile project when I received this error message.

The TFS project (source code) was mapped to c: \ ABC, but for some reason, adding files from c: \ AAB did not help. I copied all the files from c: \ AAB to c: \ ABC and then tried to add items from the mapped folder and it worked.
