Difference between proxyMode @scope annotaion and scopedProxy scanning of contextual components.?

Is there any difference between proxyMode @scope annotaion and scopedProxy scanning of the context component.

I know that the latter will enable proxies in all classes of the specified package value when scanning the context component.

I just want to know if there is any functional difference between the two or not or only the first (the @scope proximode is used to enable the proxy for a specific bean)
