No opportunity for new-> web application in Intellij Idea 14.1.2

I have IntellijIdea14.1.2 (community version) on Ubuntu 12.04LTS I'm trying to create a web application project from scratch and I decided to follow this guide https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/help/enabling-web-application- support.html # new

But I don’t get the option mentioned in step 3 β€œIn the Additional Libraries and Frames section, select the Web Application check box. Select the version of the servlet specification that will be supported in the version list.” The only thing I see is Groovy. Can someone tell me what to do to enable other options in this list? I tried to look at the facet page and even assume that there are options that I do not see on my client.

Similarly, I do not see another plugin mentioned on this page when I look for a calm https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/help/preparing-for-rest-development.html

I tried reinstalling IntelliJ, thinking that something was wrong with the installation, but it seems like it is not.

In the community version, you can develop Java SE applications. To develop web applications or enterprise applications you need to buy a commercial version. Please refer to this documentation to check the difference between releases.
