Adding a duplicate Bootstrap as a starting point for customization

I am researching the best bootstrap tuning practices. I get the impression that the best (css only) practice is to add a stylesheet after the bootstrap call and redefine the bootstrap classes as you set up. In this case, it seems a reasonable starting point to add a duplicate loading stylesheet and change its values, leaving the class names the same.

I hope that I will return to this approach before I do this.

I do this, twitter invested 1000 man-hours in its development, and this can save you time to get the project off the ground, quickly.

Most of the people and projects I've seen have bootstrap, and then use a second stylesheet to override the default rules.

Hope this helps.

It would be nice to just copy the styles that you use, since including a full style sheet with redundant classes will lead to efficiency. Not much, but everyone helps.
