How to use custom material design icons with materializecss?

I need to know how to add my own mdi icons to custom classes. the mdi classes provided do not meet my expectations.

How can I add them and use them as default

Well, this is an alternative solution provided by this site. It includes the prejudice of a large number of icons, such as social buttons.

You just need to add this css link to get the icons and add them as classes

 <link href="css/materialdesignicons.min.css" media="all" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

and

 <i class="mdi mdi-facebook-box"></i> <!-- facebook box -->

Just include this stylesheet:

  <link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/icon?family=Material+Icons" rel="stylesheet">

you can now use materializecss icon tags. sample below :)

 <a class="waves-effect waves-light btn"><i class="material-icons right">cloud</i>button</a>
