Private add-on publishing

I am trying to publish a test add-on with the Private option because there is nothing new in this add-on and Google will not accept it if I publish it using Public .

The add-in contains a sidebar, a custom menu, and a custom function. It works well in Google Sheet.

In the Chrome Web Store, I added 2 gmails to Edit your tester accounts: under Your developer account . I also created a google group with these two gmail.

Following this thread , I did Publish ==> Deploy as Sheets web add-on... , then uploaded various icons and images to the Chrome Web Store, paid $ 5, left most of the mailboxes empty, and then published it with the Private option and chose the created google group.

However, when I open a new Google sheet with either of these two letters, I cannot find the add-in in Add-ons . In Add-ons ==> Get add-ons... I can not find the add-on.

So does anyone know where this add-on should appear? This is because this add-on has been verified by Google so that it is not yet available.

I am very surprised to see that such a basic publication is unclear. Is this because few people publish the add-in using Private ?

In the web store toolbar, you should see a link to the add-in. Get the URL of this link and specify the URL of the accounts you created that must have permission. These accounts must install the add-in, and then must be able to use it.

I think you can also list your supplement as unregistered and do not have to go through the entire approval process. This makes it easy to share your add-ons with specific users.
