"Your credentials do not work" in MS Azure

I just created Azure VM using the Windows 8.1 image in the Marketplace. During the creation process, I provided a username and password.

After creating the virtual machine, I click Connect and try to log in via MSTSC - using the credentials just entered (with a slash to delete the domain).

But I keep getting "Your credentials do not work." What have I done wrong? This procedure has worked for me in the past.

In addition, when I browse virtual machine users through the portal, I only see "Subscription Admins" containing my Microsoft ID. I also cannot log in using my Microsoft ID.

First of all, I don’t know why someone refused this question. It was legal, it also happened to me, and I got to this post, trying to find a solution.

Currently, I found it. I created a Windows 8.1 virtual machine in Azure and after providing the username and password, I received the message "Your credentials do not work" when they are provided.

I tried several options, and I finally got enough results by adding the machine name as a domain (since the user I created is local, that makes sense).

eg. if your computer is xpto.cloudapps.net, try registering with "xpto \ username" as your username.

He worked with me.

After installing the domain on the server, you need to log in with the domain name.

like

domain_name \ user

This will solve the problem.
