The value of "authenticationMethod" and "authenticationInstant" in the "Post Recipient View"

According to the API docs for "Post Recipient View" attributes mean:

authenticationMethod: The sender created a value that indicates the agreement used to authenticate the signer. This information is included in the Certificate of Completion.

authenticationInstant: sender generation value [sic] indicating the date / time during which the signature was authenticated.

I'm not sure what is meant by "agreement used to authenticate the signatory." My users authenticate by email / password, as is quite common. What are the valid values for these attributes ( "EmailWithPassword" not accepted by the API)? What is the meaning of "password authentication"?

The authenticationMethod method is the required field / metadata that is added to the Certificate of Completion. It is in your best interest to provide value that best describes how your application has authenticated the signer so that you have an accurate reproduction / history when viewing the certificate of completion. The accepted values are listed below:

Password, E-mail, Paper Documents, HTTPBasicAuth, SSLMutualAuth, X509Certificate, Kerberos, SingleSignOn_CASiteminder, SingleSignOn_InfoCard, SingleSignOn_MicrosoftActiveDirectOnSignOnport, Signin_assory_assory_assor, port "SingleSignOn_Other", "Smartcard", "RSASecureID", "Biometric", "None", "KnowledgeBasedAuth"
