Full-screen image gallery on click

Question

At https://willhay.io/photography/ I have a bunch of different photos.

I want the user to be able to click on the image, then go to a kind of full-screen image gallery with arrows going back and forth to switch between the images and the X button to return to the main page of the photo.

I have individual images on my server with full resolution.

Would I just make current image links that go to pages for each of the full screen images / resolution? I feel that there is a much easier way to do this. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

What about https://github.com/kayahr/jquery-fullscreen-plugin ? This plugin allows you to switch between full screen and you can customize it in a slide show, etc.

I decided to do it the way I suppose. Made separate html files for all 30 images ... It was a huge pain, but finally it was done! Check here https://willhay.io/photography .

For the X button and arrow, I used Unicode characters and just copied and pasted them. The X button will return to willhay.io/photography, and each arrow is a link and goes to the next image or previous page of the image. Let me know if you see any problems with it!
