I implemented an operation containing three tabs (using TabLayout). One of the tabs (implemented using the fragment) has an EditText window at the bottom of the screen. When the focus moves to the edit text box, and when you select the box, the soft keyboard appears immediately, and the edit text box shifts after a significant lag. Similarly, when the back button is pressed, the keyboard hides immediately, but the edit text box only moves down after a while. Any ideas as to why this could happen? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
