Phone Mail Error - "The metadata meta tag does not exist, add it if using the cordova-plugin-whitelist plugin."

New to a telephone conversation, having difficulty even after reading all the SO posts on this subject, simply cannot make it work.

I have the org.apache.cordova.whitelist plugin installed, I added the Content-Security-Policy meta directive to my index.html file, and I added the appropriate and tags to my config.xml file. However, every time I run the application (android), I get the following error:

"The metadata meta tag does not exist. Add it when using the cordova-plugin-whitelist plugin.", Source: File: ///android_asset/www/plugins/cordova-plugin-whitelist/whitelist.js

Than your problem disappeared.
