I am looking for the Haskell STM extension, which I read about in the newspaper a few years ago. I still remember that, on the one hand, the authors claimed that they significantly improved Haskell STM, on the other hand, they encountered inconsistencies in their measurements, which they could not explain. I also remember that the authors were well known. Does anyone know what kind of paper this is? I can not find the answer.
