In our rails application, we upload mp3 / mp4 files directly to s3. We need to find the duration of the video / audio and save it on the table. I just tried mp4info gem
require 'taglib' require 'mp4info' file = "livetouch-test.mp4" info = MP4Info.open(file) p info.SECS
this provides the length of the video, but this expected video must be kept loacally. On rails, video / audio are only available on s3. Does anyone know how to get downloaded s3 file on RoR
