Stretch UIImage, while the center of the image does not change in Objective-C

Question

I want to resize the image while keeping the four edges stretched and the center area unchanged for the iOS app. It is possible in Android from 9 patches, but is there any method in Objective-C for this?

I am looking for resizableImageWithCapInsets , but it will keep the four edges unchanged and stretch the central area, which is not my business.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
