LIB folder in an ASP.NET MVC 6 project

Is the LIB folder under the wwwroot of the asp.net mvc 6 application to be checked into the source control, for example git or VS Team Services?

Is it expected that it will be created only on the development machine through the gazebo and will not receive from the control source?

The contents of the lib folder should be populated with bower using your gulp task. Thus, you do not need to register / transfer these files to the original control, because they can be recreated during the build process.
