I am making an XHR Post request in Chrome, and it immediately returns with a response with an error type without any details. In Chrome, the response status is displayed as "canceled." However, the request actually reaches the server and is processed by the server (checked with a breakpoint). But the XHR error response and the Chrome response status “canceled” occur before the request reaches the server. I am testing the local server and application server with one source "local.mydomain.com". Thus, there are no cross-domain effects. What can cause this behavior?
