Run python script as administrator on startup in Windows 10

Question

I have a script that starts at startup, amd sometimes does some bcdedit modification, which requires cmd as an administrator.
I tried the registry method and worked on win 7, won 8.1, but did not work on win 10:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers] "C:\\Windows\\System32\\cmd.exe"="~ RUNASADMIN" "C:\\Windows\\SysWOW64\\cmd.exe"="~ RUNASADMIN" 

Does anyone know another idea?
