Missing libresolv.9.dylib and libxml2.dylib files

I have an old Xcode project for iOS where I used libxml2.dylib and libresolv.9.dylib. After installing Xcode7.

I can’t find the files, and I don’t know where to look. Can anybody help me?

With the new Xcode and new iOS, you need to update the links from libresolv.9.dylib and libxml2.dylib, removing the link from Target-> Building Phases and adding new files: the files are now in another folder:

/ Users / yyyyyy / Library / Developer / Xcode / iOS DeviceSupport / 9.0 (XXXXXX) / Symbols / USR / Library

where yyyyyy is the username and xxxxxx of iOS bulild.

SleepyViking's response to this stream provides a shortcut to search for missing .dylib files.

  • Go to Phase Building> Binding Binary Files with Librairies +> Add Another
  • As soon as in the file selection window do "CMD" + Shift + G (go to the folder) and type / usr / lib /
  • From / usr / lib you can add: libz.dylib and more ...
  • Compile and have fun.
