How to use `jpm` with webextension in Firefox?

Question

I run the Firefox addon and from what I see:

• jpm is a Firefox addon management tool ;
• WebExtensions is a new way to write Firefox extensions , compatible with the extension API, supported by Google Chrome and Opera ;
• so far I can’t find if jpm can be used with WebExtensions .

Is it possible to develop WebExtensions using jpm ?

Nope. Theyre two separate ways to develop Firefox add-ons.

To add a bit more details, if you are writing the add-in that you want to use now, you probably want to go with jpm . WebExtensions are still being implemented, and although we at Mozilla would like to hear your API usage data, they are not ready for use at this location (end of September 2015). If you want to write WebExtension, Ive written a tutorial that should help you get started.
