Expected Pending Operation

I am relatively new to application development of the first MVC code, and I tried to host the first MVC code application in VPS. when you tried to browse the website after publishing the application, I was getting a wait wait error. I tried to do a little research and found out that TCP / IP on SQL Configuration Manager helped some, but I was out of luck. Following is the stack trace, does anyone know what the problem is?

I think this may be useful if someone came up with an answer to the same error in the future.

Thanks for the help from everyone, but the problem I ran into was that I forgot to add the user to the application pool! stupid mistake on my part!

I had the same problem. Some SQL update command was very long and caused an error because the timeout was set to 30 seconds by default. I found the following SO article to solve this problem: EF Code First - timed out. The waiting period expires before completion

For me, this worked with setting CommandTimeout for 180 seconds in the Configuration.cs file.

Good luck.
