Cannot install Microsoft.ApplicationInsights 2.0.1 from NuGet

Unable to upgrade Microsoft.ApplicationInsights from 2.0.0 to 2.0.1 from NuGet. He complains that Microsoft.ApplicationInsights.DependencyCollector has a restriction requiring Microsoft.ApplicationInsights 1.2.0. (The dependency must be> = 1.2.0 for the dependency, which must be resolved.)

In particular, the error message:

Unable to resolve dependencies. I did not find a workaround, and I did not find any chatter on Google about this issue. Anyone have any suggestions?

Microsoft updated the release notes to state that version 2.01 is not intended for web applications and continues to use 2.00.
