Deleted Amazon S3 Bucket Names Reusable

If I remove Bucket from my Amazon S3 account, will this name be available for use elsewhere? I am setting up a bucket named "WXY234" in my S3 account, but now I would like to have the name of this bucket in a different account. If I delete it from my account, will the name be released into the wild so I can use it elsewhere? If so, how long will the issued name take?

From Amazon S3 documentation Limitations and limitations for buckets :

Bucket ownership is not transferable; however, if the bucket is empty, you can delete it. After removing the bucket, the name becomes reusable, but the name may not be available for reuse for various reasons . For example, some other account might create a bucket with that name. Please also note that it may take some time before the name is reused. Therefore, if you want to use the same bucket name, do not delete the bucket.
