this is not an implementation problem. Whenever I launch an application from Eclipse, I see in the line of the tab โLaunch: Delegate Launchโ which hangs by 62%. I tried to profile the eclipse, I see that more time is being spent here.

I had this โproblemโ (this is more of an inconvenience) after upgrading to Java 8 and Eclipse Mars. The Maven installation remains the same.
Have any of you experienced this problem and solved it? I spent several hours without any positive results. Thanks for the reply in advance.
I had this problem with a large RCP-based server / client based desktop application built by Maven. "Starting the delegate ..." delays the launch of the client by two minutes or so, which has become a rather unpleasant cost
