How to keep Android emulator always on top in ubuntu 14.04 I use Android Studio 2.1.1 and emulator version 25.1.6 It worked before updating Android SDK Tools to 25.1.6.

I had the same problem. And I solved it as below:

AFTER EVERYTHING, MEAN THAT THE EMULATOR HAS TWO DIFFERENT WINDOWS THAT ARE ACCEPTED TO OTHER OTHERS.

  • Right-click the top panel of the emulator and install it as always on top
  • Right-click the emulator icon on the dash and select "Emulator" this time using the ALT + SPACE shortcut to open the context menu and always select again from the top.

AND THIS!

NOTE: EVERY TIME YOU MINIMIZE THE EMULATORY WINDOW, PERFORM STEPS ABOVE.
